It also includes some higher education schools outside of the city limit (total 17 schools) and also there are several schools within the Plano ISD that fall outside of the city limit (total 12 schools).<\/SPAN><\/P> The schools feature class has the following fields to help categorize the data:<\/SPAN><\/P> School_Category<\/SPAN>: <\/SPAN>Public<\/SPAN>, <\/SPAN>Private<\/SPAN>, <\/SPAN>Charter<\/SPAN>, <\/SPAN>Higher Education<\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI> School_Type<\/SPAN>: <\/SPAN>Daycare/ECS <\/SPAN>(ECS = Early Childhood School/preschool), <\/SPAN>Elementary<\/SPAN>, <\/SPAN>Middle<\/SPAN>, <\/SPAN>High School<\/SPAN>, <\/SPAN>Senior High<\/SPAN>, <\/SPAN>Combined <\/SPAN>(school serves multiple School_Types), <\/SPAN>College/University<\/SPAN>, <\/SPAN>Trade/Technical<\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI> Administration<\/SPAN>: <\/SPAN>Independent <\/SPAN>(means Private), <\/SPAN>PISD<\/SPAN>, <\/SPAN>FISD<\/SPAN>, <\/SPAN>N/A<\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><\/UL> Daycare includes all licensed and registered child care centers and child care homes through Texas Health and Human Services.<\/SPAN><\/P> Charter schools are not part of an independent school district.
